2024-2025
We’re excited to welcome all our students and families to Northside Elementary, home of the Thoroughbred family! I am personally honored to have the opportunity to be a part of and lead this amazing school community. We believe that Northside is a safe and welcoming place who values everyone. We are a place where ALL can grow, thrive and succeed.
We believe that students need structure, accountability and consistency and that they all deserve relationships, respect and kindness. We believe that addressing students’ basic needs and well-being is a prerequisite for effective cognitive engagement. And we want Northside to be a place where all students can learn with confidence without a fear of mistakes.
Our goal is to continue to improve and transform the way students learn. While we’ll continue to teach the essential skills they need for success, we’re also focused on creating opportunities for them to apply their learning in authentic and meaningful ways.We continue to strive to increase cognitive engagement at high levels embedding our district’s Portrait of a Learner, where students are developing skills like resilience, collaboration, empathy, creativity, and responsibility.
At Northside, we’re a close-knit family, and we welcome parents and the community to work with us to support our students. Thank you to everyone for being a part of this incredible journey with our Northside Thoroughbreds!
